hitzebestandige-dichtungsmasse-grau-kartusche
Heat-resistant sealing compound, GREY, cartridge

Fire-resistant plastic sealing compound, based on ceramic fibres and inorganic binders, for sealing joints/cracks primarily between ceramic and metal components, i.e. the connection between fireclay and steel components on the stove. It can be used to seal stove doors, joints in flue pipes, or cleaning covers. Cracks and joints purely within ceramic components (stove linings) can also be repaired with it.

Think of this sealing compound as a sealing cord between two components, which you apply from the cartridge. However, it does not achieve a true adhesive bond between the two materials/components. For that purpose, it is better to use high-temperature silicone.

Material: pasty and ready to use for application

Maximum application temperature: 1050 °C

It hardens after application when exposed to air. The drying process can be accelerated by exposure to temperatures of 120°-150 °C. Drying times depend on the applied layer thickness and range from 2-35 hours. Ceramic setting occurs at approximately 1000 °C.

Content: 310 ml

Colour: grey/black

Maximum joint width: 5 mm

The sealing compound is also available in White/Grey.
