dichtschnur-ofendichtung-rund-12mm-messingdraht-1-5m
Sealing cord stove seal round 12mm with brass wire 1.5m

This white fireproof sealing cord (glass knit cord based on E-glass fiber) is wrapped with brass wire. The brass wire provides greater stability and better grip.

The applications range from the door on the fireplace or tiled stove insert to sealing lids on coal stoves.

Application temperature up to 550°C

Diameter of the fireproof sealing cord: 12 mm

Length: 1.5 m

Please ensure that the fireproof sealing cord always remains elastic. Over time, the fire-resistant stove seal can harden. The fireplace door no longer closes flush, and your stove draws in false air. This results in higher combustion temperatures, causing the interior lining to wear out much faster. In the worst case, the body itself can become warped. Therefore, replace the stove sealing cord in good time.

Our matching sealing cord adhesive is particularly suitable for gluing the fireproof sealing cord to the stove body. First clean the surface of any old sealing cord residue and adhesive. Cut the stove seal to size and press it into the corresponding groove coated with adhesive. Allow to dry for a few hours, and you can once again heat safely and with peace of mind.

Please note: The sealing cords with brass wire are somewhat more stable and therefore compress less than a comparable seal without brass wire.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0758/7584/4433/products/dichtschnur-mit-messingdraht-umwickelt-01_ff1b0156-c704-4697-ba25-adf40f6cef42.jpg?v=1685373211
